Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (often referred to as Doi Suthep) is one of the most important sacred temples in Chiang Mai in particular and Thailand in general. It is located at an elevation of 1,073m on the Mount Suthep's slopes. The wat is a true example of northern Thailand architecture with a 306-step staircase flanked by naga and contains many precious relics of the Buddha.
