Being the second of the “Three Sisters” operated by Heritage Line in Halong Bay (besides Violet and Ginger Cruise), Jasmine  Cruise is the gracious middle-child, built in the style of a traditional Vietnamese junk, with three tawny sails and dark wood-cladding and decoration in 1930's Indochina style. Consisting of 23 cabins, an impressive restaurant and gorgeous bar, a large terrace and huge sundeck, spa and massage rooms, the cruise provides large and luxurious spaces for tourists to relax and enjoy the holiday. We booked the Jasmine cruise with INSIDE TRAVEL but because we were on route home from New Zealand the travel, hotel and transfer arrangements were quite complicated and from a distance a little worrying. We should not have been concerned.The Jasmine two night cruise was brilliant even though the weather was not kind. the Chanceldony Hotel in central Hanoi was very good and the transfer/travel arrangements first class. Well Done INSIDE TRAVEL and especially your agent Miss Trang. She answered all our questions and concerns perfectly.

Highly recommendable Beautiful boat Attentive, knowledgeable staff Though not enough comfy seating outside. & a total waste of space at the top deck that only had a few sun beds(6) by the main sail. & a couple of cafe tables. Where were the sun couches/ lounges? Day 2 was the best due to seeing much more of the Bay, kayaking etc.& spending time on the other boat. I would not recommend to my friends the one night / 2 day as you don’t get to see much of the bay. Thought the 2 night / 3 day could be extended by one more night. I would book that if it was on offer for my next trip. There is one excursion that is over rated & totally unnecessary and that was to the fishing village. Stated as the largest in Halong bay. Floated around for 15mins covering a distance of 1 square kilometre. No fishing boats / people to be seen except for others from our cruise. Houses, dogs & a few kids could be seen from the distance. Ridiculous! The next time I book i will give that a miss. All in all, a beautiful bay & a beautiful boat. Regards Melissa

We booked a trip on the Jasmine cruise to Ha long bay which we would highly recommend to anybody interested in visiting Ha long bay. The service and food were great and all staff were very friendly. Our trip was booked with the help of Miss Trang who was extremely helpful and responded to all our emails quickly. We were very pleased with the service from Vietnam Travel Centre and would defiantly use them again in the future.

We used Holiday Vietnam Travel to organise a cruise on Halong Bay.They exceeded my expectations, and gave us a memorable trip on an excellent boat.The Jasmine is one of the larger boats in the Heritage line, and was beautifully fitted out. It was comfortable, and the crew were amazing.The food was excellent, the cabin was great, and nothing was too much trouble.Our HVT contact was Trang Nguyen, and she made sure that we had all that we needed to ensure a great trip.The only downside of a Halong Cruise is the 4 hour road trip from Hanoi to the bay. A long trip over some rough roads. Nguyen made sure we had a large comfortable vehicle for the trip, and the driver was thoughtful and experienced. Even this part of the adventure was enjoyable.Nguyen checked in with us, by phone, at every stage of the outing, making sure that all was well.We were so well looked after - I would not hesitate to recommend this group, and Nguyen in particular, for her personal touch.A fabulous memory.
