Paukan is a very old name of Bagan - the ancient city of 2000 temples on the bank of the Irrawaddy River. RV Paukan 2007 was built at the Myanmar Shipyards in Yangon for Ayravata Cruises. This is a lovely boutique hotel on the river, which is wonderfully furnished with an exclusive mixture of modern and traditional decoration. The comfortable cabins are equipped with colonial style cupboards, dresser and doors while the ceiling is traditional Myanmar. The cruise has enough room for 55 passengers who will be looked after by 30 crews. Paukan has suites, deluxe or superior cabins as well as single ones for certain needs of travelers. Meals in the dining room on the main deck are provides with fresh ingredients and you can choose from the menus various delicious dishes. Vegetarian meals can be ready when informed beforehand.
