Admire the beauty of Mughal Gardens
On the eastern bank of the enchanting Dal Lake sets a beautiful terraced Mughal garden named Nishat Bagh, which is famous for its unbeatable vistas and amazing settings of plants, flowers, and architecture. Popularly known as the "Garden of Pleasure", Nishat Bagh covers an area of 46 acres and it is the second-largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir Valley. Like all the Mughal-style Gardens, the design and layout of the Nishant Bagh is largely influenced by Persian architecture. But the distinct part of the garden is that it features the scenic backdrop of the magnificent Zabarwan Mountains and stunning views toward the calm and serene Dal lake. Also, the garden has a water channel flowing through the middle, amidst a variety of multi-coloured flower beds along with lines of verdant trees, which further adds to the romantic charm of the garden. It is no wonder that Nishat Bagh is a prominent landmark in Srinagar, it is also an ideal stop for nature lovers, family vacationers as well as romantic couples to take some of great photos with many dramatic angles and backgrounds.
