Bokong Waterfalls in Sagada
If you love chasing waterfalls in Sagada, northern Philippines, but not really be into a demanding trek, the small Bokong Waterfalls is definitely your place to be. Located among rice terraces and stands of pine trees, this little cascade is just a 30-minute walk from the town center. Visitors can follow the path on the left of the Sagada Weaving Center, trek down to a small river, cross it and continue upstream to the waterfalls. It consists of two surges of water, measuring around 20 feet high, and a small deep natural pool, perfect for taking a refreshing dip. The highlights of Bokong Waterfalls is that the water is less colder than other falls in the region. It is fun and enjoyable to take a jump from the top of Bokong falls to the pool, but make sure you’re good swimmers.
