Enjoy Phare Ponleu Selpak Circus
Phare Ponleu Selpak Circus or the official name Phare, the Cambodian Circus is an amazing night performance of traditional and modern arts, including music, dance, theater, acrobatics, and juggling. All are beautifully choreographed and performed in a specific topic or story about Cambodia lives, culture, and society that make this show a genuinely unmissable attraction in Siem Reap. Most of young performers in Phare, the Cambodian Circus come from Phare Ponleu Selpak, an NGO founded in 1994 by a group of Cambodian ex-refugees artists in Battambang. Located behind the Angkor National Museum, the Circus offers 350 seats and performs nightly at 8.00 pm with different shows: Chills (Preu), Eclipse (Sokrias), Khmer Metal!, Sokha, Phsong Preng (The Adventure), Same Same But Different, White Gold!, etc. This is a great experience that should not be missed in the Temple Town.
