Set in the scenic landscape of the rolling Wenlock Downs at a height of over 7000 feet above sea level in the Southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Ootacamund Gymkhana, in the Queen of Hill Stations Ooty, is one of the finest natural golf courses in the world. The golf course is surrounded by the lush forest, it has a 18-hole layout with huge changes in elevation and one of the prominent and unique feature of having tee 9 of the 18 holes are blind, which offers natural contours and undulations making stroke play difficult and tricky.
