Experience various activities in Bardia National Park
Located in west Nepal, Bardia National Park is the largest and most pristine national park in the Terai, and is home to countless species of flora and fauna, some of which are the Nepal's famous One-horned rhinoceros, the endangered Royal Bengal tiger and the Bluebull. Much of the park is covered in vast riverine forests, grassland, savannah, with the Karnali River in the west and the Babai River crossing through it, making it an ideal attraction for nature lovers looking for a real jungle exploration without the madding crowds and commercial development. There, you can participate in a host of outdoor activities, such as jeep safari, elephant rides, bird watching, sport fishing, or rafting, accompanied by experienced naturalists and wildlife tracker. Expect to see swamp deer, blackbuck, marsh-muggers, sarus crane, silver-eared mesia and even a Royal Bengal Tiger roaming freely. Inside the national park, you can also find a dozen safari lodges with excellent accommodations and facilities for guests and the Tharu Cultural Museum displaying a few artefacts of Tharu life.
