Fantastic scenery of Longsheng Rice Terraced Field
The Longsheng Terraced Fields, also called the Longji or Dragon's Backbone Terraced Fields, is a spectacular sight for photography and hiking that you should not miss when traveling to Guilin. Formed around 600 years ago by local minorities, the terraced fields cover an area of 66 square kilometers in Longsheng's mountainous regions. Offering a magnificent view of the lush rice terraces and surrounding mountainscapes, Longsheng Terraced Fields is reputed as one of the most impressive man-made wonders in China. The Ping’an Zhuang Village is the most prominent sightseeing spot in the area where visitors can fully admire the panoramic view of the fantastic scenery of rice terraces.
