Feet-bathing in the volcanically heated foot baths in Nagisa Park
After exploring Sakurajima, one of Japan's most active volcanoes in Kagoshima City, Nagisa Park Foot Bath is the perfect place for visitors to take a leisurely break and soothe the tired feet. Only a 10-minute walk from Sakurajima Ferry Terminal, this park offers a foot bath filled with the natural hot spring water discharged from 1,000 meters underground that boasts a total length of 100 meters, making it one of the largest foot baths in Japan. The bath is available for all to use free of charge and provides spectacular views of Kagoshima Bay and the city with Mt. Sakurajima in the background.
