Have fun with Zip Flyers in Sarangkot
Zip flying is one of the most extreme adventure sports in Nepal that has been attracting a lot of thrill seekers and travelers all around the globe. Set up on the elevated hill of Sarangkot in Pokhara, the officially named Zip-Flyer Nepal starts from Sarangkot hill station (1625m) and ends at Hemja (960m) with a 1.8 km long trolley fixed to a steel wire at 600-meter vertical drop with 140+ km/hour speed, making it one of the highest, longest and most incredible zip-lines in the whole world. The zip-line is about 2 minutes and the activity may take 2-3 hours in total. While the starting point offers the breathtaking views of the Himalaya range, including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri in the north, you can admire the raging Seti river and the lush vegetation of Pokhara valley to the south during the ride. This sport is enjoyable with world-class standard, but be sure you’re comfortable with heights.
