Dr. Graham's Homes (formerly named St. Andrew's Colonial Homes) is an old educational institute situated in the town of Kalimpong at a distance of 5 km from Kalimpong Bus Station. It was founded in 1900 by Reverend Dr. John Anderson Graham, a missionary of the Church of Scotland, who settled in Kalimpong and worked with the local community for several years from the late 19th century. Covering an area of 500 acres, Dr. Graham's Home a co-educational boarding and day school that consists of a huge playground, spacious classrooms, laboratories, music room, computer room, library and mini auditorium. The institution is also a self-sufficient school with its own hostels, cottages, stuff quarters, farmhouse, workshop, hospital, bakery, dairy, poultry etc, which made it like a miniature town having all the facilities inside. As the major educational center of Kalimpong, Dr. Graham's Home is a truly international institution and gets sponsored by various non-governmental organizations from all over the world. This is a unique attraction among the popular historical places to visit in the picturesque hill station.
