Pay a visit to Perak Museum, the Malaysia’s first museum
Built in 1883, Perak Museum is the oldest museum operating in Peninsular Malaysia. It displays various collections of ethnological artifacts and wildlife replicas, which is indeed an educational and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Explanations are displayed in both Malay and English. It also features highlights such as car collection, embroidery, and Orang Asli masks. Some of them are classified as rare items over a hundred years old. Housed in an Art Dico building dating back to 1833 with an ancient British architectural concept, Perak Museum is an interesting place to visit and learn more about Malaysian state history.
