Relax with an excursion to Coconut Cultural Park
Located just opposite the enchanting Passikudah Beach in Eastern Sri Lanka, Coconut Cultural Park is a special cultural attraction dedicated for the cultivation of coconuts where visitors can learn all about this tropical plant. The park occupies an expanse of more than 238 acres, of which 25 acres serves as a tourist zone with plenty of tourist activities. There you can wander under the coconut groves, learn how to grow the tree and how to make varieties of products from coconut, such as cooking oil and toddy, coir rugs and rope, timber for housing and shelter, as well as enjoy a relaxed and exciting ride on the bull drawn cart. The highlight is of course to taste coconut delights like coconut water or ice cream. You can also savor a fresh papaya or pineapple and spend time in the small souvenir shop for fabulous handmade coconut items at reasonable prices.
