A journey to Vang Vieng is incomplete without a stop at the Blue Lagoon. You can enjoy swimming in these lovely natural pools and participate in many exciting activities. There are several Blue Lagoons in Vang Vieng, but the most popular spots are Blue Lagoon 1, 2, and 3. Blue Lagoon 1 is the closet to the downtown with plenty of facilities, so it attracts a large number of travelers each day. Besides jumping in the turquoise waters, you can also pay a visit to Tham Phu Kham Cave in the vincinity. Though Blue Lagoon 2 and 3 is further from the city and a little difficult to reach due to unpaved roads, it’s still worth a trip with thrilling swings, zip-line, and bamboo rafts to indulge in the crystal clear pools. The best time to visit the Blue Lagoon is from October to March.
