Located 20 kilometers from Lampang, Wat Phra That Lampang Luang is a Lanna-style Buddhist temple. This temple was built in the fifteenth century. It is great place for who wants to learn about the real architecture in this period because unlike most of the temples in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Lampang Luang hasn't been 'renovated' to conform to modern Thai ideas about temples; it still maintains the pure state of all the temple buildings. The ancient beauty of this temple is definitely worth a look.
