Visit scenic Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Zhujiajiao, which is known as "Little Venice of Shanghai", is a lovely ancient watertown covering an area of 47 square kilometers on the outskirts of Shanghai. The town is located in Qingpu District, glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains, and hosts a great history of over 1,700 years. Zhujiajiao prospered through clothing and rice businesses and was a busy trading area in the past centuries due to its convenient water transportation with a dense system of canals and waterways.
