Visit the world's smallest Sun Bear at Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center
The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre is a wildlife conservation and research centre in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, which provides cares to rescued Malayan sun bears, the smallest bears in the world and only found in Southeast Asia. The center opens to public in 2014 and now be home to over 40 sun bears, where improves welfare and rehabilitation of this species. Inside this center, visitors can learn about sun bears and observe them in their natural habitat, foraging, climbing and sunning in the forest freely. The center is equipped with two elevated walkways and viewing platforms, as well as several telescopes for a closer look.
